Amy I. Grosskopf

Age 96, of Alma, formerly of East Jordan, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Schnepp Health Care Center in St. Louis.

Amy was born December 25, 1915 in East Jordan, the daughter of James "Barney" and Alma A. (Anderson) Bayliss. She married Anthony "Hank" Grosskopf on March 16, 1937 in Alma. Amy was a longtime resident of Alma and East Jordan.

Amy is survived by her three children, Gail (Harve) Hurst of San Diego, CA, Elizabeth (Jeff) Howells of Watkinsville, GA and Bernie (Laura) Grosskopf of Vestaburg, five grandchildren, Dustin Grosskopf, Raj Shah, Susan, Julia and Christina Howells, two great-granddaughters, Maya and Tara Shah and a sister, Eva (Russ) Gee of East Jordan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Anthony in 1988, three brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may to made to Heartland Hospice, 1426 Straits Dr., Bay City, MI 48706. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma.
