Amanda Green United States March 26, 2012 9:25 PM		I grew up as a young child knowing Jake. My mom, Wendy Green, worked for Jake at Troy for many years. He had maintained contact with her yearly. It was with great sorrow, tonight while I was helping her figure out her new cell phone, that we received the message he had passed. She would have been at his service, and is saddened that she missed it. Our deepest sympathies to his family. We will miss him!

I met Jake over 30 years ago and he, along with his wife Rose, quickly became good family friends. Jake was a talented, intelligent and generous man who genuinely liked people. I learned a lot from him and have fond memories of time spent at his house and taking my young son to his farm as well. Jake took him out on the tractor and I think he enjoyed it as much as my son did. Jake will not be forgotten.

He remained a good friend and someone who remained a part of my family's life. Jake was a one of a kind type of guy and will truly be missed. My prayers and sympathy goes out to all of his family.
Bernie Burgette Fort Wayne, IN March 12, 2012 8:30 AM		Jake and I became friends primarily through his association with Troy Design and mine with Magnavox in Fort Wayne, supporting contract design personnel needs in the 70's and 80's. We remained friends and communicated regularly through email and personal visits. My respect for his professional expertise is only surpassed by my respect for him as a person and friend. He will be missed. My deep-felt sympathy goes out to his family for their loss.
